In past decades, and right now, communities in France and across Europe have known the dangers of de-industrialisation and the socio-economic harm it can cause. In many of these communities, local industries have often been reliant on fossil fuels such as gas and coal to drive manufacturing and employment. But when these sources of energy are no longer competitive, businesses suffer.

Blue Capsule is working hand in hand with the French nuclear industry, and companies across Europe, to develop a solution for big employers such as the chemical industry. A solution that will enable us to keep production and facilities in the country, keeping jobs and communities alive.

That's why we are not only committed to supporting local industries, but also broader policy goals in France and the European Union that aim for a Just Transition away from fossil fuels - a transition that cuts CO2 emissions for the planet, but one that also safeguards jobs and opportunities for communities across our continent.
